Sidharth Dhawan

Sid serves as the APAC Head for Alternatives, leading CBRE’s leasing strategies for high-growth sectors, including flexible workspace, education, and automotive. 

With over 15 years of experience across the Asia Pacific region, Sid is a versatile real estate leader with a comprehensive background in P&L management, investment, development, brokerage, and enterprise sales. His expertise spans multiple asset classes, including retail, office, residential, and emerging alternative sectors.

Sid began his career at CBRE’s Delhi office in 2009 as a tenant representation specialist. He subsequently joined Hines as a Development Manager, where he oversaw development and asset management for Skyview Corporate Park, a 1.8 million sq. ft. mixed-use development in Gurgaon. Later, as an Investment Manager at Hines, he focused on fund-raising, deal sourcing, and investment underwriting for the firm’s residential investment platform in India.

In 2016, Sid returned to CBRE in Hong Kong to lead client solutions for the APAC Leasing business. In this capacity, he provided strategic sales leadership for major enterprise accounts, consistently achieving a record high win rate.

Relocating to Singapore in 2020, Sid spearheaded the establishment and scaling of CBRE’s market-leading flexible workspace leasing business across APAC. His team has achieved numerous industry milestones, including advising on flexible operator IPOs, executing marquee large-scale campus acquisitions, and managing complex global occupier portfolio roll-outs. This mandate has since expanded to encompass the broader Alternatives portfolio, integrating the education and automotive sectors.

Outside of work, Sid enjoys cricket, pub quizzes, tennis, padel, swimming, and poker.
